Every Wednesday afternoon at 2 pm our phone lines are transferred over to our out of hours service provider BADGER.The surgery is still open for all pre-booked appointments and patients who want to collect prescriptions.
Our telephone lines are also switched over to Badger every Tuesday from 12 pm – 2 pm as we have our practice meetings on these days.
Out of hours cover is provided by Badger who will take care of you in the event of an emergency outside of surgery hours. Your call will be transferred automatically to Badger if necessary. A doctor is always on duty to deal with genuine emergencies. Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens. Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and/or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
